It's been a little while since I've written an entry in this journal, but I am after all a newlywed and have had my attention on other things. Married life more than agrees with Neldor and myself. As I have mentioned before, since we have spent so much time together and have shared a home for quite a while, the only change that came with being married is that we now share a bed. There are few sounds that I find more comforting than that of Neldor's breathing as he sleeps.

As for our earning a living, our farm is thriving. I love going into our greenhouse in the morning and seeing how well our fruits and vegetable plants are growing, Not to mention the herbs I planted for alchemy ingredients. Their brilliantly colored blooms fill the greenhouse with vibrate colors.

While I was harvesting the apples and bananas, Neldor was harvesting the peach trees. Laughing softly, he commented, "I can easily imagine my grandmother shrieking if she could see me now, picking fruit from a tree. It wouldn't matter that these trees are not a part of Valenwood; she would still shriek shrilly enough to break the greenhouse glass."

Amused, I replied, "She won't hear a word about this from me. Perhaps from Thorinor, but not me."

Breaking out into laughter, Neldor agreed, "Yes, Thorinor would gleefully spread the word if he hasn't mentioned it already. Of course he would leave out the fact that he loves Rosewood Wonderpetal Flavored Milk."

When the day's harvest was gathered we took most of the grapes and some of the apples down to our basement which has now been set up as a nectary. With two machines that we have upgraded for flavor enhancement, we place the ingredients into nearby vats and then...start squishing the grapes and apples with our feet. Once our Lifefruit and Flamefruit plants are ready to be harvested we'll be making nectar with those ingredients as well.

With the farm fully producing eggs, milk, fruits, vegetables, and now making nectar, we usually don't have any free time until after noon. We're still planning on enrolling for the summer term at A.I.U, but we're certainly going to take a light course load so we can still manage the farm.

Neldor had been planning on going for a Fine Arts Degree, but he's spent so much time looking at our telescope and watching the stars that he's now thinking of pursuing a degree in science and lore. I pointed out that he could always pursue one degree and then go for another. Our farm is doing so well that I know we'll be able to afford it.

When Thorinor heard about Neldor's developing interests, he commented to Saje in jest, "Watch, next my brother is going to want to join House Telvanni."

Although he was aware that Thorinor was joking, Saje had replied in a serious tone, "He would be welcome. We would be happy to have him."

Neldor isn't the only one involved with lore and science. My alchemy skills are now high enough that the science center has asked me to undergo a series of tasks, starting with gathering four types of local insects. Once that is done I will need to find and identify items such as stones, gems, and flowers. None of that will be difficult for I have been studying and working with such reagents for quite a while.

After selling today's produce to the grocer, Neldor went to the Pelagiad library to research science while I looked around for insects to take to the science center. That was when I unfortunately met with you know who.

Leaning casually against the outer wall of the grocery store, Godonir inquired in a mock sorrowful tone, "How is married life treating you?"

"Very well," I answered. Wanting to drive the point home, I added, "In fact it quite agrees with me."

Still speaking in a forlorn tone, Godinor responded with, "So you think. You'll have to forgive me for not being happy for you. I hate to see people so mismatched."

Refusing to let him ruin my good mood, I smirked at him and stated, "We're not mismatched."

He argued calmly, "Yes you are. Neldor is like a forest fox. Very clever, good at evading enemies and stalking prey, but not exactly intimidating. You, my dear, are like a lioness. One can see that you are deadly even without you showing your claws and baring your fangs. Being mated to another predator would be a far better match for you."

Feeling amused rather than offended, I said calmly, "You can compare us to animals all you like. It doesn't change that Neldor and I suit each other."

"You don't know any better!" he abruptly snapped.

Drawing my brows together, I said firmly, "You don't know what's good for me or what I need. You don't know me. Not really!"

"That's where you're wrong!" he shot back as he stepped closer to me. Fixing his amber colored eyes on mine, he continued sharply, "You've never had a Spinner session, have you? I have. Not with Sifina but with other Spinners. For all too short periods of times I have looked through the eyes of other versions of myself in other Stories! You were there with me!" Now standing so close that I put my hands up and backed away, he added pointedly, "I have known you...as you have known me."

His point was very clear. He wasn't talking about merely knowing details such as my favorite flower or color. Godinor was stating that in other Stories he knew me...intimately. It was a knowledge that even now he carries in this life. This Story as Sifina would call it.

Backing up out of his reach, I said in a soft but firm tone, "Even if that is the case-"

"It is!" he insisted.

Keeping my patience, I continued, "Even so, those were other Stories. That is not this Story."

Narrowing his eyes, he hissed, "Stories can be changed, and I will not give up on that just because Neldor put a ring on your finger."

Gesturing at our surroundings, I told him, "You don't need me! It's well known that you've had trysts with Yanna and Merryweather. Not to mention the female werewolves who live with you. If you want...companionship...you don't need to look to me, one who is already happily married."

He countered with, "I'm not talking about meaningless trysts! This is about our bloodlines!"

Exasperated, I demanded, "Why do you keep going on about bloodlines? There's nothing special about mine!"

He chuckled softly before saying, "You still haven't spoken to Verandis, have you? Very well then, I'll tell you myself. You likely won't believe me but you can always have Vernadis confirm it. You, my lovely she-predator, are descended from a powerful pair of werewolves. As am I. Your werewolf forebears had their offspring after they were infected. This means that Lycanthropy is a permanent part of your bloodline. You don't need to be infected. You already are!"

Not believing what I was hearing, I asked, "If that is the case, why did you bite me?"

Godinor explained, "Because it's dormant. For the Lycanthropy to full take affect it needs to be awakened. It is awakened by you being bitten by someone like me."

I pointed out, "But I went to Sifina and she cured me."

With a laugh, Godindor placed his hand on his chest and explained, "No, she didn't cure you. She can't cure you. She could only put the Lycanthropy back to sleep. It will always be a part of you. Furthermore, any children you have will carry Lycanthropy in their blood. They will carry it whether they are sired by Neldor or sired by me. Of course if I do the honors they will be a new, extremely powerful breed of Hound."

Sensing that he was telling the truth, for why would he make up such an outrageous lie, I asked a bit sarcastically, "I suppose you saw us producing this...new breed of Hound...in other Stories?"

Smirking, he answered, "Indeed. They are beautiful, cunning, and deadly; a cross between a pure line of Pack Leaders and Berserkers. Those are...subspecies of werewolves. Both are far more powerful than the basic Hounds that most people are familiar with. My breed is the Berserker. You, dear lady, come from a pair of incredibly strong Pack Leaders."

Lightly clasping my hands, I stated, "I am not interested in breeding a new type of Hound for Hircine."

Refusing to be deterred, Godonir asked, "What do you think that goodie two-shoes from Grahtwood will say about this? How will he feel about any children that he has with you being carriers of Lycanthropy? Being one who follows the Green Pact, I doubt he'll be happy about it."

I answered with full confidence in my new husband, "You're right; Neldor won't like it...but it won't change anything. So what if our children have Lycanthropy in their blood? It means they would have to be protected from being bitten by a werewolf. We would protect them from that anyway. Neldor will not break the vows he made to me. He will not seek to get out of our marriage. Regardless of what has happened in other Stories, in this one you will have to look elsewhere for an Alpha Female. Now if you'll excuse me, I must bid you good day."

As I turned away from him, Godonir said in a humorous tone, "Try not to think of me when you lie down with your husband tonight."

Glancing over my shoulder, I told him flippantly, "I won't be thinking of you at all."

Insisting on having the last word, he replied, "Keep telling yourself that, love."

I have not yet had a chance to speak to Neldor about this but I am going to, and no I am not concerned about how this information - which I need to have Verandis confirm - will affect us or our plans to have a family. As I told Godonir, this changes nothing.

Kind of persistent, isn't he?

One might not be sure if he is telling the truth about other stories about him and Aeronwen, given his character, lol. But that's what's great about a really good villain, when they are the only ones telling the truth. Like Voryn.

Voryn was right about the Dwemer just vaporizing themselves, and he was right about something else, I don' remember what it was, but it impressed me.

Godonir has that bad chad energy. Perhaps in some other story Aeronwen had no choice but to marry him, or something. Or he was a better person in those story lines.

Lifetimes that we will pretend never existed, lol.

It's so funny that Neldor should be grateful for those two dimwits.
