I have some really big news to report today. Early this morning Neldor got a call from Thorinor asking if we could come by his and Sarasvati some time today. He quickly added that nothing was wrong, it was just that they had some news that they wanted to share with us in person. Suspecting what the news would be, we went by their home near the river after we had taken today's produce to the market.
Incidentally, Thorinor and Saravati really have a beautiful home, with the decor being a mixture of Valenwood and Telvanni styles. The furnishings are almost entirely in shades of green along with polished woods and stone.

Practically bouncing where stood, Thorinor looked at Neldor and said happily, "Well, little brother, the news is...your going to be an uncle." Following a soft laugh, he looked at me and explained, "Well, we're both already uncles since our eldest siblings have had children but...." Returning his attention to Neldor, Thorinor finished with, "You're going to be an uncle here."
At once stepping forward to embrace his brother, Neldor replied, "Congratulations. I am so happy for you. You're gonna be a great dad."

To Sarasvati, I said sincerely, "We're both so happy for you. Does your father know yet?"
With a happy smile, she answered, "We told him a little while ago. He's over the moon that he has another grandchild on the way. I had Sifina examine me when I suspected I was pregant and she told us that we're having a little girl."

With a grin, Neldor looked at Thorinor and asked impishly, "A daughter? What are you going to do when she grows up and a crowd of potential suitors show up to visit her?"
Without missing a beat, Thorinor answered, "I'll kill them. I'll kill them all. Either that or just keep her locked up until she's two hundred years old."

Although they have only just found out that they're expecting, they went ahead and decorated the nursery, which looks absolutely adorable. Keeping with the green and polished wood colors, the sweet little room is entirely done in a nature them, decorated cuddly animal plushies and flower shaped lights.

Impressed, I said, "You did a beautiful job. Your little one will no doubt feel quite cozy in here."
Neldor remarked, "The timing is good since their Auntie Ashara is also expecting. The children will be close in age."
Thorinor agreed, "She can't have too many cousins to grow up with."
I noticed that his expression was briefly curious and sensed his politely unspoken question; Any chance of you two have one soon? Nothing was actually said about our own household expanding so the subject was not broached.
Neldor and I remained there a little while longer, enjoying our visit as the four of us sat down in the kitchen for an early lunch. Afterward we headed back to the farm so we could get to work on the day's batch of nectar.
I know Neldor would like us to try for a baby but he hasn't said anything about it. With the way nearly everyone we know is now expecting perhaps it is time to seriously consider it. At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if Acacia contacts me to announce that I'm about to be an aunt.
If that does indeed happen, that my sister also finds herself expecting, then perhaps it really is time for Neldor and I to set the sterility amulet we've been using aside.
*~*~*
An amusing note; after I got the screenshots I wanted and released the characters from posing, Neldor and Aeronwen had to hightail it out of there because Thorinor and Sarasvati decided they wanted to woohoo. It as as if they forgot that they were entertaining guests. LOL
Also, I LOVED being able to get a screenshot of the brothers actually hugging rather than only being able to have them stand near each other for the scene.
