Another work week has begun. Tomorrow is the first day of spring, but that doesn't mean the snow will immediately disappear and allow us to start planting. We have to wait until the temperature is warm enough that our crops won't freeze as soon as they began to grow up out of the soil. So we continue to work for the Adventurer's Guild, but hopefully we are now in our last couple of weeks.

One of the things that bother us is that we don't get to go riding on our horses as much as we used to. That's never good because no matter how well trained a horse is, if it isn't ridden regularly it will start to revert to being...not exactly wild but not as well mannered and accepting of its rider. When we read that a highly regarded trainer from Summerset was conducting a horse training seminar at the Ascadian Equestrian Center we decided to attend. One can always learn something new, plus it was good to get Garland and Gloria saddled and put them through their paces.

Admittedly the instructor didn't tell us much that we didn't already know, but this gave our horses something to do besides hang around in our paddock playing with the big rubber horse balls. It was good to refresh their memories when it came to cues from their rider as we went through the obstacle courses that the Summerset trainer had set up.

Speaking of horses, Neldor's cousin Brolmir and his sturdy saddle horse Snicker made it into the news this morning;

The regal art of horseback riding is still alive and well in the capable hands of Brolmir Thistle-Burr, seen recently sitting tall on Snicker. Now if he would simply stop falling off he would look a whole lot more like royalty.

At least Snicker didn't run off. Instead he showed concern over his rider who had landed in a snow bank. No, I'm not laughing. This can happen to anyone. Falls are simply a part of riding a horse. All one can do is stand up, brush yourself off, and get back into the saddle.

And the last bit of news for today before I have to head out on my guild assignment, the Tattler's favorite person, Master Neloth, has yet again been featured;

House Telvanni's Master Neloth (or at least someone who looks EXACTLY like him) was seen at Fiddler's Green dancing the night away with Morgana le Hex. Perhaps he is now paying Morgana enough attention to keep her away from Tanor the Sleaze.

Witnesses report that shortly before closing time Neloth and Morgana disappeared into a storage room where Neloth was heard repeatedly yelling, "Wooooo hoooooo!"

Master Neloth was not available for comment. We will report more details on this sordid story as they become available.

For Thorinor and Sarasvati's sake, I hope this story is true but I have a sinking feeling that it isn't. Whatever the case, I'm sure it will be interesting to hear what Master Neloth has to say about this.

Now it's off to our assignment. Tonight Neldor and I have to go to the mausoleum and dispose of some zombies that someone has created through necromatic means. Assuming we live to tell the tale, I'll write another entry tomorrow.

Sarasvati *sighs* "I wouldn't be that lucky. I wish those two would just marry and stick to themselves."

And Snicker Snickered...
