A White Rose Wedding
19th of Rain's Hand, 428 3E
Today was another beautiful and successful wedding. This time I got to sit among the guests for the ceremony (next to Acacia and Darkfell who have returned from their honeymoon). One of the first things I noticed when we arrived at the chapel was that the roses around the wedding arch are now white. They were pink for Acacia's wedding, and I have the memory crystal images to prove it.
When I asked Sifina how she was able to get the rose bushes to change their colors, she merely answered, "I asked them to. Politely of course."
The connection that Spinner's have with nature amazes me, but that's a topic for another entry. Now for the beautiful memory-crystal images that were taken before and during the ceremony. I confess that in the beginning I was unsure of these newly developed "Dwemer technology plus magic" items that are showing up in our lives, but the images we are able to capture from important life events, such as weddings, are priceless.
Here are more for the family image album, starting with the "Sisters" images that were taken of the bride Sarasvati and her Maid of Honor Ashara.
A little while after those images were taken it was time for the ceremony in the garden. When it was time for the bride to make her entrance, we rose from our chairs and looked toward the chapel's entrance. We all gave "oohhs" and "ahhhs" of admiration as Sarasvati and her father Master Aryon stepped out of the chapel and walked along the stone path toward the wedding arch. Aryon of course looked both happy and a little misty-eyed. Sarasvati was of course stunning.
Thorinor looked like he was going to burst with happiness when Sarasvati came to join him in front of the wedding arch. In fact after the ceremony I heard Neldor said teasingly that when his brother saw the bride his black eyes bugged out so much that one could see the normally hidden whites.
With the Best Mer and Maid of Honor standing nearby, the bride and groom made their vows to each other. Sifina, serene as always, elegantly presided over the ceremony as birds sang in the trees and butterflies fluttered among the white roses.
After being pronounced husband and wife, Thorinor and Sarasvati stood beneath the arch and posed for their first memory-image of them as a married couple. Some may think that a high-born Telvanni lady and a Bosmer bard from Valenwood (with black eyes and antlers no less) are the definition of miss-matched, but I think they look perfect together.
Then of course came the first dance. Thorinor may look a little wild with his antlers and dark eyes, but he knows how to conduct himself like an elegant, civilized gentlemer. This was easy to see by the way he gently kissed his wife's hand at the start of the dance.
The dance itself; beautiful. There's no other way to describe it.
Once the formal parts of the day were over, everyone relaxed and spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying good food, drinks, and music. Neldor gave Sarasvati a hug, welcoming her as his new sister, and telling her in jest, "You blew it. I told you to make a run for the hills, but now you're stuck with this jester for the rest of your life."
Sarasvati laughed and replied, "I wouldn't have it any other way."
And so another wedding ceremony was successfully conducted. If Master Neloth had indeed been planning to swoop in and abduct Sarasvati, he was stopped by the "dome of wards" that surrounded the chapel and the garden. No doubt he is furious about this, but frankly none of us care.
Just one more little thing I wanted to mention before I end this entry. Before the bride and groom left to spend their wedding night in their new house, Sarasvati tossed her bouquet which was caught by Ashara. As we were all clapping and cheering for the Maid of Honor I glanced at Master Aryon and was a bit surprised at his expression; he looked troubled as he gazed at Ashara. Turning my attention toward Sarasvati, I saw that she also appeared a bit uncertain as she looked at her sister.
If Ashara is involved with anyone I've never heard Sarasvati mention him. If there is someone special in Ashara's life, for some reason her father and sister seem uncomfortable with the match.
Or perhaps I'm just imagining all this. Whatever the case, it's none of my business. The important thing is that no one, not even a grouchy House Telvanni Mage Lord, was able to put a stop to today's wedding.
May Thorinor and Sarasvati have many happy years together.

I'm looking forward to Juniper coming along. In every lifestage she's such a stunning girl, which is of course why Thorinor becomes concerned about Neloth when Juniper reaches adulthood. He'll tear Neloth to pieces if the old wizard so much as looks at Juniper the wrong way.

Do you mean with the poses or the setting itself?
Along with using Pose Player I use Lyralei's Pose Addon V1.0 . This allows me to pose inactives, so no more having to switch households in order to pose sims.
Thorinor won't be alone if Neloth sniffs in the wrong direction concerning Juniper. Aryon, Sarasvait, Ashara, and Saje would be very quick to join in.

I was thinking of that... Vemyn has the life goal of Zombie Master, Gilvoth wants to make monsters, Sixth House kind of stuff, trying to make a form of Ashfolk. While THE Dagoth just wants to grow an herb garden and try all of the herbs, and paint some pictures or write poetry.

Ah, the screens are all taken in the Romantic Little Church, but I added and decorated an upper floor which I use as the bride's room. That's where I took the screenies of the brides with their sister/maids of honor.
